The New York City ART of LOVE, which took place on March 2, 2011 at Milk Gallery raised over $100,000.
The evening featured artwork by Adi Ashkenazi, Andrew Levitas, Andy Marcus, Brian Marcus, Carrie Shaltz, Christopher Dawson, Daido Moriyama, Dietmar Busse, Gabriela Vainsencher, Jamie DIamond, Jordan Doner, Justine Fisher, Know Hope, Marlon Krieger, Maxi Cohen, Maya Attoun, Michael Dweck, Michael Chelbin, Ohad Maiman, Olivier Laude, Omri Shapira, Orit Ben-Shitrit, Ryan Holden Singer, Shay Kun, Sheffy Bleier, Yiorgos Kordakis and Zach Hyman.
The event was curated by Gabriela Hersham, Karen Hakimi, Rena Sarant and Victoria Brooks. Alexander Gilkes of Phillips de Pury was the auctioneer.
The ART of LOVE brought together a 500-strong crowd including artists, art patrons, socialites and members of the young, philanthropic community. Cocktails and canapes were served. The climax of the evening was the live auction of eight pieces of spectacular artwork.
