Sudan

Years of internal conflict combined with huge inequality have meant that, in spite of recent economic progress, Sudan is still one of the poorest countries in the world.

Landmines, disease and poverty have all been causes of disability, which is compounded by the lack of access to healthcare and rehabilitation services, as well as the absence of wheelchairs and appropriate mobility equipment.
