Laura Lehmann’s 3 Peaks Challenge

On July 5th 2013, I will start surely what is the toughest UK trekking challenge: the 3 Peaks in 24 hours. From Ben Navis in Scotland through to Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, the 40 km and 3,000 m ascent will be my personal challenge. I will climb the 3 Peaks for those that can’t walk and help them to one day have a wheelchair that will change their lives.

Garratt Stuart’s Berlin Marathon 2018

This year, I have set myself the challenge of not only running the world famous Berlin Marathon, but also fundraising £1,000/$1,380 for Walkabout Foundation!

£1,000/$1,380 is the equivalent of 4 life-changing wheelchairs for people in need in the developing world.

Please help me in reaching my target this year, and help Walkabout Foundation in it’s mission to change the world of mobility disabilities, one person, one wheelchair at a time.

The walk will commence at Hyde Park’s Band Stand at 9:30 am. Once you have registered for the walk, you will receive all details in an email.

It’s free to join the walk but our dream target is one wheelchair raised per walker (that’s £200 pounds or $300 dollars). However, every pound makes a difference. Here’s what the money you raise can buy:

£10 = front wheel
£21 = back rest
£30 = main frame
