Hi everyone,
I’m thrilled to announced that I will be running the 2024 Berlin Marathon on September 29th!
I will be raising money for Walkabout Foundation, which is a UK-and US-registered charity with the mission of restoring dignity, freedom and independence by providing wheelchairs and rehabilitation in the developing world and funding research to find a cure for paralysis.

Dear Friends and Family,
I consider myself so fortunate to be able to take part in the London Marathon! As a way to give thanks, I am running on behalf of those that don’t have the same opportunity that I have. We oftentimes take our ability to walk, run, to move freely, for granted. Walkabout’s mission really spoke to me because of the quest to provide life changing equipment to those in need in the developing world and beyond. Please join me in supporting this amazing organization and their mission to change lives around the world.
We are officially about a month and half away from race day! So far, training is going great, and I’m really thinking I can hit my PR and the lofty goal I have set for myself. I love the London Marathon so I was really happy to be offered a place by Walkabout Foundation and set myself the challenge of raising £3,000 to support their global wheelchair projects. It’s a great charity and £3,000 is the equivalent of 12 wheelchairs that will help change the lives of people with mobility disabilities in the developing world.
It’s also being held on my birthday so an amazing way to celebrate reaching my half century!
