Samantha Curtis and Sabine Ducroux’s London Walkabout 2011

Dig deep and search the sofa! We’re confident that we will meet our $200.00 target! We’re taking part in a sponsored walk through London’s Royal Parks, Saturday (18 June) at 10 a.m. The walk will raise money to help purchase wheelchairs specifically designed for the rough terrain of developing countries. $200 buys a full wheelchair. All donations are processed in US dollars (for administrative reasons!) through Paypal which is entirely safe and secure. Thanks for supporting us!

Peter and Annie’s London Walkabout 2011

Join us for a 15 kilometer walk on Saturday June 18th at 10:00 am (with an option of doing a shorter 5k walk) around Hyde Park, Green Park, and St. James’s Park to raise money to donate wheelchairs to people in need in the developing world.

The walk will commence at Hyde Park’s Band Stand. Email [email protected] to register. You will receive all details in an email once you’ve registered.

It’s free to join the walk but we encourage participants to fundraise any amount they can, whether its £200 pounds (or $300 dollars) for an entire wheelchair or just a few pounds for wheelchair parts. KX GYM is our headline sponsor, which means 100 percent of all funds raised go directly to the cause. Here’s what the money you raise can buy:

£10 = front wheel
£21 = back rest
£30 = main frame
