My name is Maria and I'm 16 years old. I am about to graduate high school in Switzerland. I am very lucky to have a high level education and with my opportunities I wanted to help people who are less fortunate. My brothers and I have our own charity where we organize ski events to raise money for people in Sudan and South Sudan. Because of the recent events there, I have set myself the challenge for 2019 of not only running the famous Royal Parks Half Marathon, but also fundraising £500 for Walkabout Foundation! £500 is the equivalent of 2 life-changing wheelchairs for people in desperate need in the developing world. Please help me in reaching my target, and help Walkabout Foundation in it’s mission to change the world of mobility disabilities, one person, one wheelchair at a time.
